Serving Crofton

Charcuterie in Crofton.

The town built around a parkway — cherry blossoms in spring, a country club at its heart, and our own next-door neighbour. This is the shortest run on our map.

The town

About Crofton.

Crofton was planned as a community from its first day in 1964, and the plan was a circle: Crofton Parkway, the tree-lined loop that everything else hangs from. In spring the Parkway's cherry blossoms turn the whole ring pink, and driving it slowly is a legitimate local activity. Inside the loop sit the village green, the country club and the colonial-styled heart of town; outside it, four decades of neighbourhoods have grown up around routes 3 and 424.

It's an unincorporated town that behaves like an incorporated one — Crofton maintains its own special community district, its own police force, and civic traditions that actually draw a crowd, the Fourth of July parade first among them. People move here for the schools and stay for the block parties.

Which is to say: Crofton hosts at home. Backyard graduations, clubhouse showers, team banquets, cul-de-sac birthdays — the kind of party where the house is full by two and somebody's mother-in-law arrives early.

Local knowledge

Where Crofton gathers.

Where Crofton gathers:

The club at the centre of the original plan — golf, pool and the banquet rooms where a lot of Crofton milestones get celebrated.

The loop itself is the town's landmark — parade route, blossom walk, and the backdrop to the community's calendar.

Anne Arundel County keeps rentable pavilions and park spaces within a short drive — the standby for bigger family gatherings.

Home, mostly

Crofton entertaining is dining-room and backyard entertaining — which is exactly what delivered, styled-on-site catering is for.

The Crofton calendar.

The Crofton year:

Early spring
Blossom season on the Parkway

Two or three weeks when the loop is the prettiest street in the county — and shower season opens with it.

July
Fourth of July parade

The civic tradition — the Parkway fills, and so do the backyards afterwards.

Late August–October
Maryland Renaissance Festival

Just up the road in Crownsville — weekends when half the county is in costume and the other half is hosting.

The run from Gambrills

How we serve Crofton.

We're in Gambrills — ten minutes door to door, the shortest run we make. That closeness is practical, not just neighbourly: tight setup windows are easy to hit, and a late count change is a phone call, not a crisis.

The grazing table is built on site — your dining table or kitchen island becomes the centrepiece — while boards and cups suit clubhouse rooms and school events where simple beats staged.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you serve?+

We serve Annapolis, Crofton, Odenton, Severna Park, Bowie, Davidsonville, Glenn Dale, Mitchellville, Upper Marlboro, Washington DC and Northern Virginia. Somewhere else? Tell us where — we'll tell you honestly whether we can reach you.

How much does it cost?+

Everything is priced per person, starting at $15 for individual cups & boxes, $19 for charcuterie boards, $25 for grazing tables, and $30 for the staffed cart. Delivery, styling, setup and cleanup are included — there's no separate service charge. Tell us your date and guest count and we'll come back with a firm number, usually the same day.

How much food do I need?+

Plan on 5–7 bites per guest when guests are grazing and mingling, and 8–10 when the graze stands in for a meal — that's why our mealtime portions run about half as much food again. The sizing calculator above works it out for you, or tell us your headcount and we'll size it honestly.

Can you handle dietary restrictions and allergies?+

Yes. Every menu is customizable, and dietary requirements are portioned and labelled separately so nothing gets mixed up. Tell us what your guests need — no pork, nut-free, vegetarian — and we'll build the board around it.

What's included in the price?+

Delivery, styling, on-site setup and cleanup are always included. Grazing tables are built on site and sized to your final guest count, leftovers are boxed for you, and the cart is staffed and bottomless for your 2-hour service window.

Is there a minimum guest count?+

Minimums apply to grazing tables and the mobile cart. For smaller gatherings, boards and cups scale down beautifully — from a single signature board up. Tell us your date and headcount and we'll recommend the right format.

How far in advance should I book?+

Weekend dates in wedding season and the November–December stretch fill first. Checking your date takes about a minute and there's no obligation — we come back with a firm quote, usually the same day.

What happens on the day of my event?+

We arrive early, set up before your guests do, and style everything fresh on site. If you've booked the cart, we serve for your window and clear everything away after. You show up and enjoy your own party.
