Charcuterie in Glenn Dale.
The town that gave America its azaleas — leafy, established, and quietly confident, with gardens that host as beautifully as any ballroom.

About Glenn Dale.
Glenn Dale gave America its azaleas. At the USDA's plant introduction station here, breeders spent the 1930s and '40s producing the Glenn Dale hybrids — more than four hundred varieties that now fill gardens up and down the East Coast, including the National Arboretum's famous hillside. Every spring, the town wears its namesake in banks of pink, coral and crimson.
The rest of the year it stays what it has long been: leafy, established and unhurried — brick colonials and ramblers under mature oaks between Annapolis Road and Route 193, the historic lawn of Marietta at its heart, and the old WB&A rail line threading through as a trail. One turn off the Woodmore corridor's polish, Glenn Dale keeps a quieter, gardened confidence of its own.
It hosts accordingly — azalea-season showers, graduation cookouts, church anniversaries, community afternoons at the splash park. This is a town where the garden is the venue.
Where Glenn Dale gathers.
Where Glenn Dale gathers:
The 1810s federal manor of Supreme Court Justice Gabriel Duvall — eleven acres of lawn, teas and history programs at the heart of town.
Bred here, blooming everywhere — the National Arboretum's Glenn Dale hillside is the town's calling card each spring.
The M-NCPPC hub where the town's family calendar runs — camps, community days and rentable rooms.
Established streets off Annapolis Road and Prospect Hill — where most Glenn Dale hosting actually happens, at home.
The Glenn Dale calendar.
The Glenn Dale year:
The town in namesake bloom — and shower season with it. Garden parties book these weekends first.
Teas, tours and lawn events on the historic eleven acres.
Backyards under the oaks — the busy stretch for at-home hosting.
How we serve Glenn Dale.
We're about twenty minutes from Gambrills, straight across on Route 450. For the azalea-season shower or the graduation under the trees, the grazing table is built on site and styled to your colours — full before the first guest is up the drive.
Boards and sealed cups suit the church hall and the community-room booking — delivered ready to serve, labelled where diets need it, nothing for your hosts to run.

How much food do I need?+
Plan on 5–7 bites per guest when guests are grazing and mingling, and 8–10 when the graze stands in for a meal — that's why our mealtime portions run about half as much food again. The sizing calculator above works it out for you, or tell us your headcount and we'll size it honestly.
Can you handle dietary restrictions and allergies?+
Yes. Every menu is customizable, and dietary requirements are portioned and labelled separately so nothing gets mixed up. Tell us what your guests need — no pork, nut-free, vegetarian — and we'll build the board around it.
What's included in the price?+
Delivery, styling, on-site setup and cleanup are always included. Grazing tables are built on site and sized to your final guest count, leftovers are boxed for you, and the cart is staffed and bottomless for your 2-hour service window.
Is there a minimum guest count?+
Minimums apply to grazing tables and the mobile cart. For smaller gatherings, boards and cups scale down beautifully — from a single signature board up. Tell us your date and headcount and we'll recommend the right format.
How far in advance should I book?+
Weekend dates in wedding season and the November–December stretch fill first. Checking your date takes about a minute and there's no obligation — we come back with a firm quote, usually the same day.
What happens on the day of my event?+
We arrive early, set up before your guests do, and style everything fresh on site. If you've booked the cart, we serve for your window and clear everything away after. You show up and enjoy your own party.
