Who we are

Grazing on the Go LLC is a mobile charcuterie business based in Gambrills, Maryland, serving Annapolis, Maryland, Washington DC and Northern Virginia. We are the controller of the information described here. You can reach us any time at info@grazingonthego.com or (443) 333-1093.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you use a form on this site — checking your date, or asking us to email you an estimate — we receive what you type into it:

• Your name, email address, and phone number if you choose to give one
• How you prefer to be contacted (email, phone call or text)
• Your event date, guest count, occasion, serving format and portion style
• Your event location or town, and anything you write in the notes field
• Whether you ticked the box asking for updates and promotions

We also record which page the request came from and the estimate figure our calculator produced, so we can answer you accurately. Only the event date, guest count and occasion are required — everything else is optional.

Information collected automatically

Our host keeps standard server logs (including IP address) for security and reliability. If website analytics are enabled, we measure how the site is used — pages viewed, calculator interactions, and whether a form was submitted. Those measurements are deliberately limited to counts, categories and coarse timing: they never include your name, email address, phone number, notes or event location, and your exact event date is replaced with a range (for example, "31–90 days away") before it is recorded.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. We use:

• One short-lived cookie of our own (gz_conv), set only when you submit a form and expiring after five minutes. It exists so a single request is counted once rather than twice, and it holds no personal details — only the form type, occasion, guest count, estimate figure and a date range.
• Analytics cookies, if analytics are enabled, set by Google Analytics to measure site usage as described above.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site's forms and calculator will still work.

How we use your information

• To answer your request. This is the main reason we hold anything: to prepare your estimate, check your date, and reply to you.
• To send the estimate you asked for. If you use "Email me this estimate," we email it to you — that is the service you requested, not marketing.
• To send updates and promotions — only if you asked. Marketing email is sent solely to people who ticked the consent box. We record the wording you agreed to and the moment you agreed, so this is always verifiable.
• To run and improve the site, using the limited, non-identifying measurements described above.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they only process your information on our instructions:

• Google — stores your enquiry in our private lead spreadsheet and sends our internal notification
• Resend — delivers the estimate email you requested
• MailerLite — holds our contact records and sends marketing email to consenting subscribers
• Vercel — hosts this website
• Google Analytics — measures site usage, where enabled

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to serve you and to keep ordinary business records of work quoted and performed. If you ask us to delete your details, we will do so except where we are required to retain something (for example, records connected to a completed booking). Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email. This does not affect emails about a booking you have made.
• Ask what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted. Email info@grazingonthego.com and we will take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have these as legal rights — we honour the request either way.
• Choose how we reach you. Tell us your preferred contact method on the form, and we will use it.

Security

Information sent through this site travels over an encrypted connection, and access to our lead records is limited to the people who need it to answer you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.

Children

This site is intended for adults arranging catering. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
